Clydie Coward-Murrell, MSN-NE, BSN, RN, DNP Candidate

Mrs. Clydie Coward-Murrell has been a nurse for 19 years, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing from South University located in Savannah, GA and her BSN from Indiana State University located in Terre Haute, IN.  In addition, she is currently pursuing her DNP from South University.  Her background consists of various specialties in the hospital setting with her first being Labor and Delivery.  Serving as a manger and as an instructor in Fetal Monitoring. 

Currently, Mrs. Coward-Murrell is a Lecturer at the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s School of Nursing.  She currently teaches in the undergraduate pre-licensure program as well as in the RN-BSN OAP program.  Her interests are inclusive of developing and managing simulations that are geared towards the Mental Health/Psychiatric populations for undergraduate students.
